AustraliaBefore a doctor can work in Dubai. Before a nurse can practise in Riyadh. Before a physiotherapist can join a hospital in Doha – every credential must be verified through Dataflow Primary Source Verification.
Dataflow is not a formality. It is the mandatory gateway to every healthcare license in the GCC. DHA in Dubai requires it. DOH in Abu Dhabi requires it. SCFHS in Saudi Arabia requires it. QCHP in Qatar requires it. OMSB in Oman requires it.
Dataflow contacts your university, your nursing council, and your previous employers directly to confirm every credential is genuine. Applications with incomplete submissions, name inconsistencies, or expired documents fail and must restart – adding months to the process.
StaffBank manages Dataflow verification for healthcare professionals and the hospitals recruiting them. We get it right first time.
Nick Hays, StaffBank’s founder, has spent 35 years managing international healthcare recruitment across the Gulf, Australia, Singapore, and the UK.
In that time one pattern has been consistent: the applications that fail at Dataflow are almost always the ones where the Good Standing Certificate arrived last and had already expired, or where the experience letter came from a hospital HR department that did not know what Dataflow would ask them to confirm. We catch these before submission.
That is the difference between a 6-week process and a 6-month one.
Dataflow Group was established in 2007 and operates as an ISO-certified verification company with a network spanning over 160,000 issuing authorities in more than 200 countries. It is the exclusive Primary Source Verification provider for healthcare licensing authorities across the GCC including DHA Dubai, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOHAP UAE, SCFHS Saudi Arabia, QCHP Qatar, and OMSB Oman.
| Professional Category | GCC Authorities Requiring Dataflow | Typical Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Doctors and Physicians | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP, OMSB | 15 to 45 working days |
| Registered Nurses | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP, OMSB | 14 to 25 working days |
| Dentists | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP | 15 to 30 working days |
| Pharmacists | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP | 15 to 30 working days |
| Allied Health Professionals | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP | 15 to 35 working days |
| Radiographers | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS | 15 to 30 working days |
| Physiotherapists | DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS | 15 to 30 working days |
Most Dataflow delays are caused by four specific document errors that are entirely avoidable with the right preparation. Understanding these errors before submission is the single most effective way to reduce the timeline.
Your passport shows Mohammed Ahmed. Your nursing certificate shows M.A. Hassan. Dataflow will flag this. Every document must show exactly the same name. If you have had a legal name change notarised supporting evidence must be submitted with the application.
Good Standing Certificates typically have a 6-month validity period. If your certificate expires during the Dataflow verification process you will need a new one. Always request the Good Standing Certificate last in your document collection sequence to maximise its validity.
Experience letters must specify your exact job title, your start and end dates, the name and address of the facility, and whether your employment was full-time or part-time. Generic letters that simply confirm employment without this detail are rejected.
Dataflow contacts your previous employers directly to verify your experience. Employers who do not respond to Dataflow enquiries cause the verification to stall. For hospitals in countries with slow administrative responses this is the most common cause of extended timelines.
Choose the correct GCC authority (DHA, DOH, SCFHS, QCHP, OMSB) to avoid application rejection and unnecessary costs.
Upload degree certificates, transcripts, registration documents, experience letters, passport copy and authorization forms.
Complete the required payment. Fees vary depending on authority, profession, and processing speed.
DataFlow verifies credentials by contacting universities, licensing bodies, and employers directly.
After successful verification, DataFlow issues the PSV report required for licensing.
Submit the PSV report to DHA, DOH, SCFHS, QCHP, or OMSB and proceed with licensing.
One of the most valuable but least-known features of the Dataflow system is the ability to transfer a completed PSV report between GCC authorities. If you have already verified your credentials for Qatar you do not need to pay for a fresh full verification to apply to Saudi Arabia or the UAE.
A DataFlow report transfer costs approximately 100 to 200 AED or QAR rather than the full verification fee and is processed within 15 to 20 working days. Starting your GCC licensing journey with one authority effectively unlocks the verification step for the entire region.
