FAQs
IT Staff Augmentation
Staff augmentation is a flexible outsourcing strategy where businesses hire external IT professionals to fill skill gaps or scale their teams temporarily. It allows companies to quickly access specialised talent without the long-term commitment and cost of hiring full-time employees.
✅ Access to specialised talent – Quickly fill skill gaps with experienced developers, engineers, and IT specialists.
✅ Cost efficiency – Save on recruitment, onboarding, and long-term employment costs.
✅ Flexibility – Scale your team up or down based on project requirements.
✅ Faster time-to-market – Increase development capacity and accelerate project delivery.
Staff augmentation can be used for a wide range of IT roles, including:
✅ Software developers (front-end, back-end, full-stack)
✅ Data analysts and scientists
✅ Cloud engineers
✅ Cybersecurity experts
✅ Project managers and business analysts
✅ QA testers and DevOps engineers
✅ App and Web Development across multiple technologies
Staff augmentation costs vary depending on the experience level, skillset, and location of the IT professional you need. We offer competitive rates and can provide a customized quote based on your specific requirements.
We believe that the work results can not always be seen right away, and it can take time to see the impact on the project. However, we are flexible in terms of project length. The minimum length depends on the specialist, type of project and complexity.
For staff augmentation services, we offer:
✅ Outstaff, where the client hires standalone specialists, the management is done on the client side.
✅ Outsource, where the client hands over the management and execution of the project to a third-party vendor.
✅ Dedicated team that works specifically for the client’s project, the management can be done either by the client or a project manager.
✅ Recruitment, where a vendor helps the client source the required specialist.
We certainly do. However it should be noted that many of our experts enjoy the variety that is offered by working with us, and are not looking for a permanent role.
If a permanent role is accepted, then Staffbank would charge a fee equivalent to 20% of the annual salary offered.
For staff augmentation services, we offer:
✅ Terms and Materials model (T&M), where the client pays for the hourly work of the specialist.
✅ Monthly Rolling model, where the client pays a monthly amount in advance for the work of the specialist.
✅Fixed Cost, a pricing model where the client and project manager determine and agree on a fixed cost and time frame for the project.
We typically work on prepayment terms.
For terms less than one month, the calculated fee is charged in advance. Any adjustments required to the amount paid will be applied on the termination of the arrangement.
We are also happy to discuss alternative arrangements depending on the project scope.
Integration issues – Augmented staff may need time to adapt to company culture and processes.
Communication barriers – Differences in time zones and working styles can affect coordination.
Security risks – Granting external staff access to internal systems requires proper security protocols.

Talent Mapping & Competitor Analysis
Talent mapping in healthcare identifies qualified professionals — including doctors, nurses, and allied health workers — aligned with your current and future workforce needs. It gives you a clear view of available talent, helping you plan proactively and reduce time-to-hire for critical roles.
Staffbank analyses how similar healthcare providers structure their teams, where they recruit from, and what compensation or benefits they offer. This insight helps you stay competitive in attracting and retaining high-demand clinical talent.
We map talent across a range of healthcare disciplines, including general practitioners, specialists, nursing staff, radiographers, physiotherapists, and more — locally and internationally. This service is especially useful for hard-to-fill roles and large-scale workforce planning.
Your HR team gains strategic insight into the local, national and international healthcare talent landscape, reducing time spent on manual sourcing. It allows them to focus on engaging pre-identified, qualified professionals with a higher likelihood of fit and retention.
You’ll receive a customised report with detailed talent availability, competitor hiring trends, location-based insights, salary benchmarks, and actionable recommendations — all designed to support your healthcare staffing strategy.
Recruitment Process Augmentation
Recruitment Process Augmentation (RPA) in healthcare is the outsourcing of key recruitment and onboarding processes to a specialised provider. This includes verifying qualifications, managing professional registration, handling visa and right-to-work requirements, and coordinating travel and accommodation for new hires. Healthcare RPA Solutions helps healthcare organisations streamline hiring, reduce administrative workload, and improve compliance.
RPA can automate and centralise key processes, reducing the time and effort required to verify credentials, process registrations, and manage visa applications. By handling these tasks externally, healthcare providers can shorten onboarding time, reduce administrative pressure, and fill critical positions faster.
Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, which work on a contingency or retained basis and typically focus on filling individual roles, an RPA provider such as Staffbank takes a more strategic, long-term approach. The provider becomes embedded in the company’s hiring process, aligning recruitment strategies with business objectives and offering ongoing support to improve hiring efficiency and quality.
RPA is effective for recruiting and onboarding:
✅ Doctors (local and overseas-trained)
✅ Nurses (including registered and enrolled nurses)
✅ Allied health professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, radiographers, sonographers, speech pathologists, pharmacists)
✅ Support staff (e.g., healthcare assistants)
RPA providers have expert knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, including registration requirements (e.g., AHPRA, AMC, NCLEX, USMLE, SCFHS and others), visa rules, and right-to-work laws. Automated checks and continuous monitoring ensure that all processes meet regulatory standards, reducing the risk of non-compliance.
Yes. RPA providers such as Staffbank manage visa applications, work permits, and professional registration for international hires. We ensure that qualifications are recognised, handle immigration compliance, and support candidates through the relocation process.
RPA in Healthcare Recruitment or IT Staffing streamlines the onboarding process by providing clear communication, automated updates, and dedicated support for candidates. Faster processing and reduced paperwork help candidates start their roles quickly and confidently.
By streamlining recruitment processes, Staffbank reduces administrative costs, minimises errors, and accelerates time-to-hire. This translates to lower staffing costs, reduced overtime, and improved resource allocation.
Yes. Staffbank’s RPA services are tailored to align with each healthcare provider’s unique requirements. This includes configuring workflows, integrating with existing HR systems as required, and adapting to specific professional and regulatory standards.
Staffbank can coordinate travel bookings, airport pickups, and temporary or permanent accommodation for international hires. We also offer relocation support and local orientation to help new staff settle in quickly.
Unlike traditional outsourcing, which focuses mainly on sourcing candidates, RPA handles the entire onboarding lifecycle—credential verification, registration, visa processing, and travel coordination. It’s a comprehensive solution designed to reduce time-to-hire and ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations.
Unlike a recruitment agency, there are no high placement fees—any costs directly benefit your facility or organisation.
